The Background
Pacific Motorsport is committed to ensuring New Zealand motorsport returns to the dizzying heights achieved during the "glory days" of Bruce McLaren, Denny Hulme and co back in the 1970's.
A number of pieces of the NZ motorsport jigsaw puzzle are gradually starting to fit together - namely New Zealand's A1GP team - A1 Team.NZL, the popular NVZ8s, the exciting Toyota Racing Series and the pursuit of many of New Zealand's top motorsport drivers in pursuit of international glory - the Black Bullets!
The Directors
Thomas Nicholson (40) - BCom BSc
Thomas has worked in a business-consulting role, analysing, developing and implementing IT and business solutions for large NZ & Australian corporations over the past 15 years.
Performing in-depth reviews of businesses then developing optimised solutions after has seen Thomas develop an acute sense of problem/solution analysis, strong strategic planning skills and excellent abilities in project management.
Andrew Carline (44) - NZCE
Andrew has worked in the consulting engineering industry since 1984, working in NZ, the U.K. and Australia on a large number of projects, both local and international. He currently undertakes project management as well as GIS work and manages the NZ region on the CAD side of his role.
He has an intimate knowledge of motorsport and currently writes a weekly editorial column for the Pacific Motorsport site. His major interest is tarmac racing, particularly Formula 1, V8 Supercars, and more recently the NZV8s.
